Art and Music, Music and Art. That is my heart center. I wanted to come up with a way to connect both of these things from me to my fans. I mentioned it recently, but here is the full explanation:
At each show I ask the audience to literally empty their pockets into a basket. Any trinkets, from buttons, to bobbi pins to receipts for starbucks to…well, whatever, and contribute to my next ‘work of art’.I then go home an pull all these little experiences from my fans together in a collage. I bring that new piece to the next show and ask the audience to answer a question that I dream up. Whoever comes closest to guessing wins the piece. At last week’s Johnny Brenda’s show the winner gifted the piece to the Turning Points for Children Charity. this is the piece they won.
